Larry Reising

World Interplay, LLC was founded by Larry Reising,
a 23 year veteran of the Aerospace industry, including 13 years as an aviation safety specialist at the Federal Aviation Administration. He has been using Apollo RCA for over 10 years to analyze causes of airplane accidents, safety issues, quality escapes and ISO 9001 Quality System issues.

Mr. Reising was inspired by a serendipitous series of events and assignments, starting 1999 when he took the Apollo Root Cause Analysis course, Mr. Reising has gained a rare perspective on the causes of organizational function (and dysfunction). This perspective has manifested itself in a calling to convey this knowledge to others. This calling eventually culminated in Larry leaving the FAA in mid 2009 so he can share this crucial knowledge with a wider audience.

Mr. Reising's experience in the aerospace industry has also given him a background in:

Design, analysis, testing and troubleshooting of complex systems
Accident/incident investigation and resolution
Program and Project Management
Auditing of aerospace manufacture's production and quality systems
Designing, deploying, auditing and registering ISO 9001 compliant Quality Management Systems
System Safety, including Organizational Accident theories
Training, including the development of training materials & videos.
Working with Government agencies, and the complex nature of change management within these organizations

Mr. Reising was a Lead Auditor for the FAA and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. He is a member of ASQ and the System Safety Society. He is based out of Issaquah, Washington.
